Where is Makoons Technologies based?
Springfield, Missouri. We support creatives from the area and actively try to bring more work to them. We also take jobs worldwide - this is not a Springfield-only studio.
What do you actually sell?
Contracts first: custom software, websites, mobile apps, and consulting. When capacity needs it, we subcontract delivery. We also build internal tools and SaaS products we run ourselves.
Do you specialize in a tech stack?
We find the right stack for the job. We can reach enough people that we are not stuck on one language or one set of tools. Springfield-area talent ranges from people getting their foot in the door to seniors. Mixing both grows the industry here and keeps costs down.
Do you only build new systems?
No. Supporting the systems you already run is part of the job - modernization, integration, and rescue - alongside greenfield work. We have worked with systems that have been around since the 80s. That mix is how most real companies actually operate.
